The Yamaha XJR 1300 was produced between 2005 and 2006, featuring a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 1251cc. It has a compression ratio of 9.7:1 and is air-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system that can hold up to 4.2 litres of oil. The bike has a 4-2-1 matte black exhaust and 4 x BS36 Mikuni carburetors for induction. The ignition is digital TCI and it starts with an electric starter.
