The Yamaha WR200R was manufactured between 1994 and 1996, and was a 199.7cc two stroke, crankcase reed valve, single cylinder motorcycle with YPVS. The engine had a compression ratio of 6.3:1 and was cooled by liquid. Lubrication comprised premix and the motorbike used a TM30SS X1 carburetor for induction. Ignition was by capacitor discharge and starting was by kick. The Yamaha WR200R had a maximum power of 27.6 horsepower at 7000 RPM and a maximum torque of 27.5 Nm at 7000 RPM.
