Yamaha World Crosser concept (2013)

The Yamaha World Crosser concept motorcycle was introduced in 2013, and features a four-stroke, parallel twin, DOHC, 4-valve engine with a capacity of 1199cc. It boasts a liquid-cooled cooling system, fuel injection with twin spark ignition, and Yamaha’s Chip-Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) and D-MODE with two modes: Sport (S) and Touring (T). The bike is equipped with three traction control modes, TCS1, TCS2, and OFF, and a wet, multiple-disc diaphragm spring clutch with a six-speed transmission and a shaft final drive. The frame is made of steel tubes, and the front suspension is an upside-down telescopic fork, while the rear suspension is a monoshock. The bike has ABS and a unified brake system consisting of 2 x 310mm front discs and a single 282mm rear disc. The front and rear tires are 110/80 R19 and 150/70 R17, respectively, and the bike has a 28 degree rake and a 126mm trail.
