The Yamaha SRX400 is a four-stroke, single cylinder motorcycle that was manufactured between 1987 and 1990. It has a 399cc engine with a bore and stroke of 87 x 67.2 mm and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. The motorbike is air cooled and has a YDIS twin carburetor induction and TCI ignition. It has a kick start and a maximum power of 33 hp at 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 3.4 kgf-m at 6000rpm. The transmission is five speed, and the final drive is a chain with a 428 heavy duty O-ring and 138 links. It has a single 320mm disc four piston caliper front brake and a single disc rear brake, with telescopic forks and dual shocks for its rear and front suspension, respectively.
