Yamaha SR400 (1981-82)

The Yamaha SR400 is a motorcycle produced between 1981 and 1982. It is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 399 cc, featuring SOHC and two valves per cylinder. The motorcycle has a compression ratio of 8.5:1 and a BSR33 carburetor. The ignition is CDI and it has a kick starting mechanism. The maximum power output is 27 horsepower at 7000 RPM and a maximum torque of 27.4 Newton-meters at 6500 RPM. The clutch is wet, multiple disc and the transmission is a 5 speed gearbox, which is chain driven. The motorcycle has a steel double cradle frame and a front suspension with a 35mm telescopic fork.
