The Yamaha RS 100 was a two-stroke motorcycle produced from 1976-77. It had a capacity of 97cc and an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The bike featured a VM20SH carburetor, with a magneto and CB/coil ignition, and was kick-started. The maximum power output of the bike was 11 horsepower at 8500rpm, while the maximum torque produced was 10.1 Nm at 700rpm. The Yamaha RS 100 had a five-speed transmission and used chain final drive. The front suspension used telescopic forks while the rear suspension used dual shocks. The front and rear brakes were both drum-style. The bike had a length of 1945mm, a width of 730mm, and a height of 1045mm. The wheelbase was 1240mm and the seat height was 775mm. The dry weight of the bike was 91kg and it had a fuel capacity of 10 litres.
