Yamaha RD200 (1974-75)

The Yamaha RD200 was a motorcycle produced between 1974 and 1975. It was equipped with a two-stroke, torque induction, parallel twin engine with a capacity of 195cc. The bore x stroke was 52 x 46 mm, and the compression ratio was 7.1:1. It featured autolube lubrication with a 1.2 L oil capacity and 2x Y20P carburetors for induction. The ignition was battery coil, and it had both electric and kick starting options. The maximum power output was 20 hp / 14.7 kW at 8000 rpm, and the maximum torque was 1.9 kgf-m / 8.6 Nm at 7000 rpm. The clutch was a wet multi-plate type, and it had a five-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The front suspension featured telescopic forks, and the rear suspension had dual shocks.
