Yamaha FJ1200 (1989-90)

The Yamaha FJ1200 motorcycle was manufactured from 1989 to 1990 and featured a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1188cc. The engine had a compression ratio of 9.7:1, was air/oil cooled, and had a wet sump lubrication system. The FJ1200 had 4x36mm Mikuni carbs and TCI ignition system. It had a maximum power output of 130 hp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 108 Nm at 7500 rpm.

The bike had a wet, hydraulic-operated clutch and a five-speed gearbox with a primary reduction system and a spur gear ratio of 1.750 (98/56). The frame was made of steel and had twin spars.
