The Yamaha FJ-09/MT-09 Tracer is a motorbike with a liquid-cooled, transverse three-cylinder, 847 cc engine that produces a maximum power of 84.6 kW/114 hp at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 87.5 Nm/8.9 kgf-m at 8,500 rpm. It has a diamond frame, 41mm fork, and a rear single shock suspension that is adjustable for preload and rebound damping. The bike has a wet, multiple-disc clutch and a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The braking system features two 298mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc. Additionally, it has 120/70-ZR17M/C and 180/55-ZR17M/C front and rear tyres respectively. The Yamaha Tracer 900 went by different names in different countries such as FJ-09 in the USA until 2017, and MT-09 Tracer in Japan, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.
