Vespa LX50 4T (2006-12)

The Vespa LX 50 4T was manufactured from 2006-2012 with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, 4 valve, 49.3 cc engine with a compression ratio of 11.1:1. It has a wet pump, chain-driven trochoidal pump for lubrication and is air-cooled, forced for cooling. The ignition is electronic capacitive (CDI) and has a kick-start. The automatic, dry centrifugal clutch produces a max power of 3.1 kW / 4.3 hp @ 8500 rpm and max torque of 3.5 Nm / 0.4 kgf-m / 2.6 ft/lb @ 6500 rpm. The CVT has a torque server which provides the belt final drive. The Vespa is designed with a load-bearing pressed sheet steel frame with single arm front suspension with a helical spring and dual effect hydraulic single shock absorber and a coil spring and dual effect single shock absorber for the rear suspension. The front brakes have a 200mm disc while the rear brakes have a 110mm drum. The wheels are made from pressed die-cast aluminum alloy with the front tire 110/70-11″ and the rear tire 120/70-10″. Overall dimensions are length: 1755mm/69.1in, width: 740mm/29.1in, wheelbase: 1280mm/50.4in and seat height: 775mm/30.5in with a wet weight of 102kg/225lbs.
