The Vespa ET4 50 motorcycle was produced from 2000 to 2005, featuring a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 49.3 cc and a compression ratio of 11.1:1, producing a maximum power of 2.5 kW at 6500 rpm. The engine is lubricated by a wet pump driven by a chain, feeding a carburetor from Weber or Dell’Orto or Mikuni 2-phase. The bike is air-cooled and forced, starting by kick-start and with an electronic capacitive ignition system. The transmission is CVT, and the clutch is automatic with a dry centrifugal system. The Vespa ET4 50 has a load-bearing pressed sheet steel frame, with hydraulic single shocks on the front and rear suspensions. The front brakes are a 200 mm disc, and the rear brakes are a 110 mm drum, while the wheels are pressed die-cast aluminum alloy. The bike has a seat height of 805 mm and a wet weight of 96 kg, with a fuel capacity of 9 L and a top speed of 45 km/h.
