The Velocette LE MK3 was a motorcycle produced from 1958-1971. It had a four-stroke, flat twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 192cc and a compression ratio of 7:1. The cooling system was water-cooled and lubrication was through a wet sump. The carburetor used was an Amal 363 monobloc and the ignition was through coil. The bike had a dry, three-plate clutch and a 4-speed transmission with a shaft final drive. The frame was made of pressed steel and the bike measured 2083mm in length and 635mm in width. The wheelbase was 1300mm and the seat height was 711mm. The front suspension was a telescopic fork and the rear suspension was dual coil springs and spring-loaded seat. The bike had 5×1″ drum brakes on both front and rear wheels and spoked wheels with 3.25 x 18″ tires. Fuel capacity was 7.4L and dry weight was 119.3kg. The available colors were silver grey, ruby, olive green, pale blue, and black.
