The Triumph Trophy 1200 was a motorcycle model produced in 2002-03, featuring a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 1180 cc. The bike had a compression ratio of 10.6:1 and utilized 4 x 36 mm flat side CV carburetors for induction, with digital inductive type ignition. Its maximum power output reached 78.7 kW / 108 hp at 9000 rpm and it had a maximum torque of 104 Nm / 10.6 kg-m / 76.7 ft-lb at 5000 rpm. The clutch was wet and multiple discs, and the transmission was six-speed with chain final drive. The rear suspension was a monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The front brakes featured two 310 mm discs with four-piston calipers, while the rear brake was a single 255 mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The motorcycle had a seat height of 790mm / 31.1 inches, a wheelbase of 1490 mm / 58.7 in, a dry weight of 235 kg / 518 lbs, and a fuel capacity of 25 litres / 6.6 US gal / 5.5 Imp gal.
