Triumph Trophy 1200 (1998-99)

The Triumph Trophy 1200 is a classic motorcycle from 1998-99 with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine that has a capacity of 1180 cc. The cooling system is liquid-cooled and the compression ratio is 10.6:1 with a wet sump lubrication system using 10W/40 engine oil. Induction uses four 36mm flat side CV carburetors, while ignition is digital inductive type using NGK DPR8EA-9 spark plugs. With an electric starting system, it can reach a max power of 78.7 kW / 108 hp at 9000 rpm and max torque of 104 Nm / 10.6 kg-m / 76.7 ft-lb at 5000 rpm. The front suspension has 43mm forks with triple rate springs adjustable for compression, rebound damping, and spring preload, while the rear has monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. Braking power is provided by two 310mm discs with 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 255mm disc with a 2-piston caliper in the rear. With dimensions of 2152mm in length, 790mm in width (handlebars), and 1430mm in height, it has a seat height of 790mm and a wheelbase of 1490mm. The dry weight of the bike is 235kg, while fuel capacity is 25 liters. It has a rake of 27 degrees and a trail of 105mm/4.1 inches. The front tire is 120/70 ZR17 and the rear tire is 170/60 ZR17.
