Triumph Tiger Explorer XCX (2016-17)

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCX (2016-17) is a powerful adventure touring motorcycle with a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine and a capacity of 1215 cc. It has a tubular steel trellis frame and a swingarm single-sided cast aluminum alloy with shaft drive. The front suspension is WP 48mm upside-down forks and the rear suspension is a WP monoshock with remote oil reservoir. The front brakes are two 305mm floating discs with radially mounted monobloc Brembo 4-piston calipers and switchable ABS. The rear brake is a single 282mm disc with Nissin 2-piston sliding caliper and switchable ABS. It has a 6-speed transmission with a final drive of a shaft. The instrument display has an analog tachometer and a fixed segment LCD display that shows speedometer, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, service indicator, clock, ambient air temperature, coolant temperature, cruise control status, and set speed. The multifunction DOT matrix LCD display shows three riding modes, windscreen adjustment, TSAS setting, trip computer, motorcycle information, settings menu, heated grips status, and heated seat status ready. The bike has a dry weight of 246 kg with a fuel capacity of 20 liters. The seat height varies from 837-857 mm and the low version from 785-805 mm. The motorcycle’s dimensions are 830mm in width (with handlebars), 1520mm in wheelbase, and a height of 1400mm (without mirrors). The front wheel has a size of 19 x 3.0 inches while the rear wheel is 17 x 4.5 inches. The bike is recognized for its power with a maximum power output of 137 hp at 9300 rpm and a maximum torque of 123 Nm at 6200 rpm.
