Triumph  Sprint ST (2002)

The 2002 Triumph Sprint ST motorcycle has a four stroke, transverse three cylinder engine with a total capacity of 955 cc. It uses multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection, has a wet sump lubrication system, and a compression ratio of 12.0:1. The bike has a digital CDI ignition and starts with electricity from a 12V, 12Ah battery. It reaches a maximum power of 87.5 kW / 120 hp at 9100 rpm and a maximum torque of 100 Nm / 10.2 kg-m / 74 ft-lb at 5100 rpm. The transmission is 6-speed and the final drive is through a chain. The aluminum twin spar frame adds to its sturdy structure. The bike’s suspension comprises of front forks with dual rate springs, adjustable rear suspensions with preload, compression, and rebound dampening. It uses a wet clutch with multiple discs that is cable operated. The Front brakes are two 320mm discs with four piston calipers whilst the rear brake is a single 255mm disc and a 2 piston caliper. The motorcycle has a length of 2160mm, a width of 735mm (including handlebars), a height of 1220mm, a wheelbase of 1470mm, and a seat height of 800mm. It weighs at 249kg with a fuel capacity of 19.5 litres and a fuel reserve of 1.1 litres. Its average fuel consumption is roughly 6.5 L/100 km, with a top speed of 231 km/h and a standing quarter-mile of 11.0 seconds.
