The Triumph Scrambler is a motorcycle released in 2008 with a four stroke, parallel-twin, DOHC engine and a capacity of 865cc. It has high level stainless steel headers with twin chromed silencers, wet sump lubrication, and twin carburetors with throttle position sensor and electric carburetor heaters. The bike also includes a digital inductive type ignition and a wet, multi-plate clutch along with a five speed transmission and x-ring chain final drive. The frame is made of tubular steel cradle while the front suspension is 41mm telescopic forks and the rear is chromed spring twin shocks with adjustable preload. The front brakes are a single 310 mm disc with 2 piston caliper and the rear brakes are a single 255 mm disc with 2 piston caliper. The tire sizes are 100/90-19 in the front and 130/80-17 in the rear. The bike has a standing quarter mile time of 14.7 seconds and a top speed of 169.4 km/h or 105.3 mph. It weighs 230 kg or 506 lbs and has a fuel capacity of 16.6 Litres or 4.4 US gallons.
