Triumph Rocket III Classic Touring (2008-09)

The Triumph Rocket III Classic Touring was produced from 2008 to 2009 and had a four-stroke, longitudinal three-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 2294 cc. It had a liquid cooling system and a compression ratio of 8.7:1. The motorcycle had multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and digital inductive type ignition through electronic engine management. The maximum power the bike could produce was 77.3 kW or 105.9 hp at 5400 rpm and a maximum torque of 203Nm or 150ft.lbs at 2500 rpm. The clutch was a wet, multi-plate design, and the motorcycle had a five-speed transmission and shaft final drive. The frame was a tubular steel, twin-spine design with 43mm upside-down front forks and chromed spring twin shocks with adjustable preload rear suspension. The motorcycle had 2 x 320 mm discs with four-piston calipers for the front brakes and a single 316 mm disc with two-piston caliper for the rear brakes. It had a 32-degree rake, 152mm / 6.0in trail and had a length of 2603mm / 102.4in, width of 995mm / 39.1in (including levers), and a height of 1182mm / 46.5in (excluding quick-release screen & mirrors). The wheelbase was 1705mm / 67.2in, seat height was 730mm / 28.7in, wet weight was 395kg / 869lbs, and the fuel capacity was 22.3 litres / 5.9 US gal / 4.9 Imp gal.
