The Triumph Rocket III is a motorcycle model that was produced in 2004-05. It features a four-stroke, longitudinal three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2294cc and a bore x stroke of 101.6 x 94.3mm. The cooling system is liquid-cooled with a compression ratio of 8.7:1. The bike uses multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and digital inductive ignition via electronic engine management. The bike can be started electrically and has a maximum power output of 103.6 kW/140 hp at 5750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm/20.4 kgf-m/147ft.lbf at 2500 rpm. The clutch is a wet, multi-plate and the transmission is 5-speed with a final drive that is shaft-based. It also has front brakes with 2 x 320mm discs and 4-piston calipers, as well as a single 316mm disc and 2-piston caliper for the rear brakes. The front wheel is 3.5 x 17 with a 5-spoke design, and the rear is 7.5 x 16 with the same 5-spoke design. The front tire size is 150/80 V17.
