The Yamaha XS 250 is a motorcycle that was produced from 1977-1981. It has a 248cc, four-stroke, 180-degree parallel twin engine with a SOHC and two valves per cylinder. The bike has a bore and stroke of 55 x 52.4mm and a compression ratio of 9.6:1. The lubrication system is a wet sump and it has 2x 32mm Mikuni carburetors for induction. The ignition system is a coil and cb and starting is via a kick. The maximum power output is 27 hp at 9500 rpm and the maximum torque is 2.2 kgf-m at 8500 rpm.
