The Suzuki TS200R was a two-stroke, single cylinder motorcycle produced from 1989 to 1992. It had a 195 cc capacity and a compression ratio of 8.5:1. The engine was liquid-cooled and used Suzuki CCI lubrication, Mikuni TM30SS induction, and Suzuki PEI (CDI) ignition. The bike had a maximum power output of 26.1 kW at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 29.4 Nm at 7500 rpm.
The TS200R had a 6-speed constant mesh transmission with a wet, cable-operated clutch. It had a chain final drive with a primary reduction of 3.350 (67/20). The front suspension was a telescopic fork with a coil spring and oil damping, while the rear suspension was a swingarm with a monoshock and gas/oil damping that was adjustable for damping force and spring preload.
The front and rear brakes were single disc, and the bike had a steel, single cradle frame. The front and rear wheels were 3.00-21 and 4.60-18, respectively, and the bike had a 80/100-21 51P front tire and a 110/90-18 61P rear tire. It had a steering angle of 43o (left and right), a caster of 62o 30′, and a trail of 117 mm.
The TS200R was 2185 mm long, 880 mm wide, and 1245 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 1425 mm, ground clearance of 320 mm, and a seat height of 880 mm. Its dry weight was 115 kg, and it had a fuel capacity of 9.5 L/2.5 US gal/2.1 Imp gal, as well as a fuel reserve of 1.4 L/0.4 US gal/0.3 Imp gal. The bike required 1.2 L of engine oil and 950 ml of transmission oil.
