The Suzuki SV1000N was manufactured between 2003 and 2004 with a four-stroke, 90-degree V-twin, DOHC engine and a liquid cooling system. The 996cc engine has a compression ratio of 11.3:1 and runs on synthetic oil. The fuel system uses a dual throttle valve fuel-injection system with digital transistorized ignition and NGK CR8EK spark plugs. The motorcycle has an electric start with a maximum power of 90.9 kW at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 102 Nm at 7200 rpm. The clutch is wet, multiple discs and cable operated while the transmission comes in 6-speed mode. The final drive of the SV1000N is a chain. The front suspension has a 46 mm telescopic fork, cartridge-type adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping, while the rear suspension is link-type with 7-way preload, compression, and rebound damping adjustable features. The front brakes use 2 x 310 mm discs with 4 piston calipers, and the motorcycle has a front wheel travel of 120 mm and a rear wheel travel of 130 mm.
