The Suzuki RG125E was a motorcycle produced by Suzuki from 1980 to 1984. It was powered by a single cylinder, two-stroke engine with a capacity of 124cc and a compression ratio of 6.8:1. The engine produced a maximum power output of 11.9 kW/16 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque output of 12.7 Nm at 8500 rpm. The bike featured a wet, multi-plate clutch and a five-speed constant mesh transmission driving a chain final drive. The frame was constructed from steel pipe, single cradle and the front suspension was telescopic while the rear suspension used a swingarm with dual shocks, coils and oil dampening. The front brakes were a single disc system with hydraulic operation, while the rear brakes were a drum system with internal expanding. The front and rear tires were sized at 2.75-18 and 3.00-18, respectively. The bike’s dimensions included a length of 1970mm, width of 750mm, height of 1035mm, and a wheelbase of 1270mm. The dry weight of the motorcycle was 115kg.
