The Suzuki GW 400 Inazuma was a motorcycle produced from 1997 to 2002. It had a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 399 cc and a compression ratio of 11.2:1. The bike was air/oil cooled and had a carburetor CVR28 for induction. It also had full transistor ignition and an electric start. The maximum power output of the motorcycle was 37.9 kW / 52 hp at 11000 rpm and the maximum torque was 36 Nm / 3.7 kgf-m / 26.6 lb-ft at 9500 rpm. The bike had a six-speed constant mesh transmission and a wet, multi-plate clutch. Its final drive was via chain and it had a double cradle frame with a 25o rake and 102 mm / 4.2 in trail. The front suspension was telescopic fork while the rear suspension was a swingarm with twin shocks and springs. The bike had dual 290 mm discs with a four-piston caliper for front brakes and a single disc with a one-piston caliper for the rear brakes. The front tire size was 120/70-17 and the rear tire size was 170/60-17. The motorcycle’s dimensions were 2140 mm / 84.3 in in length, 745 mm / 29.3 in in width, and 1090 mm / 42.9 in in height. Its wheelbase was 1460 mm / 57.5 in, ground clearance 125 mm / 4.9 in, and minimum turning radius 2.7 m / 8.9 ft. The bike had a fuel capacity of 18 liters / 4.8 US gal / 4.0 Imp gal.
