PGM 2.0 litre V8 (2014)

The PGM 2.0 litre V8 motorcycle was introduced in 2014 and boasts a 90 degree V8, DOHC engine with 5 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 1966cc. It features liquid cooling, a compression ratio of 13:1, and an exhaust system with 2 x 4-into-2-into-1 configuration. The induction system uses 8 x ~A45mm Miluni Drive-by-Wire throttle bodies, with engine management by Motec M130ECU and software. The PGM V8 has an electric start and a maximum power output of 249KW / 334 hp at 9500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 214 NM / 21.8 kgf-m / 157.8 lb-ft. The clutch is a wet, multiplate design and the transmission is a 6-speed sequential gearbox, with final drive via chain (17/45). The frame is a chrome-moly tube trellis and CNC machined aluminium rear, with front suspension using Ohlins FGRT301 48mm USD forks that are fully adjustable. The rear uses a custom link with an Ohlins TTX Mk2 shock. Braking power is provided by 2 x 320mm discs at the front with Brembo GP4 Nickel plated calipers, and a single 220 mm disc at the rear with a Brembo P4-34 Nickel plated caliper. The PGM V8 uses 10 spoke forged aluminium wheels, with a 3.50 x 17 Marchesini at the front and a 6.00 x 17 Marchesini at the rear, fitted with Michelin Pilot Power 3 tyres (120/70ZR-17 at the front and 190/50ZR-17 at the rear). It has a 25.5 degree rake angle, a 107mm (4.2in) trail, a wheelbase of 1540mm (60.6in), a seat height of 840mm (33.1in), a wet weight of 242kg (534 lbs), and a fuel capacity of 16.5L (4.4 US gal).
