Norton Commando 961 SS (2010)

The Norton Commando 961 SS is a motorcycle model that was released in 2010. It features a 961cc parallel twin engine with push-rod valve actuation, 3 bearing crank balancer shaft, and 2 valves per cylinder. The bike has a compression ratio of 10.1:1 and is air-cooled with dry sump lubrication. Fuel injection and crank-fired electronic ignition make starting the Commando an easy task.

The front brakes are Brembo 2 x ~A320mm semi-floating carbon stainless steel discs with 4 piston “Gold Line” axial calipers while the rear brakes are Brembo single ~A220mm discs with 2 piston “Gold Line”caliper. The front and rear wheels are BST carbon fibre with sizes 3.50 x 17″ and 5.00 x 17″ respectively. It has a front tyre of 120/70-17 and a rear tyre of 180/55-17.

The bike has a wheelbase of 1420mm, dry weight of 188kg, seat height of 813mm, and a fuel capacity of 17 litres / 4.5 US gal.
