Moto Guzzi 750SP Spada (1988)

The Moto Guzzi 750SP Spada was a motorcycle model released in 1988. It had a four-stroke V-twin engine with a capacity of 744cc and 4 valves per cylinder. The bike was air-cooled with a compression ratio of 9.7:1 and a maximum power of 48 hp at 6600 RPM. The Spada’s lubrication system used a pressure pump, and it started electrically. It had a single plate, dry-type clutch and a five-speed transmission, with shaft final drive.

The bike was built with a steel tubular duplex cradle frame that was disassemblable. It had a Moto Guzzi hydropneumatic telescopic fork front suspension and a swinging fork rear suspension that was supported with Koni adjustable shock absorbers. Its brake system used a dual 270mm floating disc at the front and a single 235mm disc at the rear.

The Spada weighed around 185 kg and had a fuel capacity of 16 litres, allowing for a fuel consumption rate of 17.8 km per litre.
