The Maico GP 250E was a highly powerful and popular motorcycle model produced in 1986. It featured a single cylinder, two-stroke engine with a capacity of 247 cc and a compression ratio of 15.5:1. The carburetor was a Bing 54/40 oval, and the engine was lubricated by a wet sump. The Maico GP 250E also had an electronic ignitions system produced by MOTOPLAT.
