The Laverda RGS 1000 motorcycle was produced in 1983 and featured a four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 981cc / 59.8 cubic inches. The engine had a compression ratio of 8.8:1 and was cooled by air. It was equipped with a Borsch electronic ignition system and 3x 32mm Dell’Orto carbs for induction.
