The KTM 640 LC4 Adventure motorcycle was produced between 2005 and 2007. It has a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 624.6cc and a compression ratio of 11.0:1. The bike has both kick and electric starting, and can achieve a maximum power output of 35.7 kW at 7500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 52 Nm at 5500 rpm. The clutch is wet and multiplate, and the bike has a five-speed transmission with claw shifting. The final drive is via chain, and the motorcycle has a central chrome-moly-steel frame.
