Kawasaki Zephyr 750 (1998)

The Kawasaki Zephyr 750 (1998) is a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 738cc. The engine has a compression ratio of 9.5:1 and is air-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. Induction is provided through four 32mm Keihin carburetors and ignition is via analog capacitive discharge. It has an electric starter and can produce a maximum power output of 71hp at 9500rpm, with a maximum torque of 56.8Nm at 7300rpm. The clutch is wet and multiple-disc, while the transmission is a five-speed gearbox with a final chain drive.

The bike has a front suspension with 41mm telescopic forks with no adjustment and a rear suspension with dual gas shocks that are adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression. The front brakes have two-piston calipers and two 300mm discs, while the rear brake has a single-piston caliper and a 230mm disc. The front and rear tyres are 120/70 VR17 and 150/70 VR17, respectively.

The Kawasaki Zephyr 750 has a wheelbase of 1455mm and a seat height of 770mm. The dry weight is 201kg and the wet weight is 220kg, with a fuel capacity of 17 litres.
