Kawasaki KMX 200 (1987-88)

The Kawasaki KMX 200 was manufactured between 1987-88 and featured a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with piston read valve induction. Its capacity was 191cc with a bore x stroke of 67 x 54mm and a compression ratio of 8.0:1. The KMX 200 also boasted a 26mm Mikuni carburetor and CDI ignition with a kick starter. It produced a maximum power of 30.4 hp at 8500 rpm and torque of 18.6 ft-lb at 7500 rpm. The transmission was a 6-speed with a chain final drive.

The KMX 200 had air assisted leading axle telescopic front suspension and Uni-Trak rising rate monoshock rear suspension, both adjustable. It also had front and rear disc brakes, with the front being a single 213mm disc and the rear being a single 183mm disc. The tires were 3.00-21 in the front and 4.60-17 in the rear.
