In 2015, Kawasaki released the KLE 1000 Versys motorcycle. It boasts a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 86.8 kW @ 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 102 Nm @ 7700 rpm. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 has an aluminium twin-tube frame and a 43 mm inverted fork with stepless rebound damping and spring preload adjustability at the front. The back suspension is a horizontal back-link, gas-charged one with stepless rebound damping and remote spring preload adjustability. The bike runs on 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear wheels, and its braking system consists of two 300mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a single 250mm disc with 1-piston caliper at the rear. The KLE 1000 Versys motorcycle’s dimensions measure at a length of 2240 mm, a width of 895 mm, and a height of 1400 mm, with a wheelbase of 1520 mm. The bike weighs in at 249 kg and has a fuel capacity of 21 liters.
