The Kawasaki Ninja 650R (2012) is a four stroke, parallel twin cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 649cc. It has a liquid cooled system and a compression ratio of 11.3:1. The engine is lubricated by wet sump and uses semi-synthetic, 10W/40 engine oil. The induction system consists of two Keihin 38mm throttle bodies and the ignition is TCBI with digital advance. The front brakes have two 300mm discs and two piston calipers while the rear brake has a single 220mm disc. The motorcycle has a rake of 25 degrees, a ground clearance of 146 mm/5.7 in, and a dry weight of 177.8 kg/393 lbs. Additionally, it has a fuel capacity of 15.5 litres/4.1 gal.
