The Kawasaki GPZ1000RX was a motorcycle model produced in 1988. It had a four-stroke, transverse, four-cylinder engine with 4 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 997cc. Its compression ratio was 10.2:1 and it used 4x Keihin CVK 36 carburetors for induction. The TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition) system provided an electric start. Its braking distance from 60-0 km/h and 100-0 km/h was 13.4 m / 39.1 m and its average fuel consumption was 14.5 km/lit.
