Husqvarna WR 250 (2009-10)

The Husqvarna WR 250 motorcycle was released in 2009 and 2010. The engine is a two stroke, single cylinder, HTS Power Valve with a capacity of 239 cc. The cooling system is liquid cooled and the compression ratio is 8.4:1. The bike has a 38mm Mikuni TMX carburetor for induction and CDI for ignition. The transmission is a 5 speed with a chain final drive. The bike has a steel single tube cradle frame with round tubes and a rear frame in light alloy. The front suspension is a Marzocchi “Upside-Down” telescopic hydraulic fork with advanced axle, compression and rebound stroke adjustment. The rear suspension is a Sachs progressive “Soft Damp” type with single hydraulic shock absorber, spring preload adjustment, compression and rebound adjustment. Front and rear brakes are single disc, with a 260mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back. The tyres are 90/90 -21 at the front and 140/80 -18 at the back. The wheelbase is 1450mm and the seat height is 890mm. The dry weight of the bike is 103.5kg and the fuel capacity is 11.2 litres.
