Honda XR 250L (1995-96)

The Honda XR 250L is a dual-purpose motorcycle that was made from 1995 to 1996. It has a four-stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc and a compression ratio of 9.3:1. The ignition is CDI and the spark plug is NGK DPR8z, while the starting method is a kick. The maximum power output is 30 hp at 9000 rpm and the maximum torque is 24.5 Nm at 7500 rpm. The transmission has six speeds and the final drive is via chain. The semi-double cradle frame is supported by a 43mm air-adjustable Showa cartridge fork at the front and a Pro-Link Showa single shock with spring preload at the rear, both with adjustability for compression and rebound damping. There is a single 240 mm disc with a 2 piston caliper at the front and a single 220 mm disc with a 1 piston caliper at the rear, both providing firm braking performance. The front and rear tyre sizes are 80/100-21 and 110/100-18 respectively. The bike’s dimensions are as follows: a rake of 26 degrees, a trail of 105mm, a wheelbase of 1411mm, a seat height of 883mm, a ground clearance of 300mm, and dry weight of 118kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 9 litres.
