Honda XL185S (1981-83)
The Honda XL 185S was a motorcycle produced between 1981 and 1983. It had a four stroke, single cylinder, OHC, 2 valve engine with a capacity of 180 cc and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. It was air cooled and had a single 24mm Keihin carburetor for induction. The ignition was CDI and starting was done by kick. The maximum power output of the bike was 16 hp at 8000 rpm and the maximum torque was 13.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. The transmission was a 5 speed and the final drive was by chain. The frame was a semi double cradle and the front suspension was 38mm Showa air assisted forks with a front wheel travel of 200 mm.
