Honda VT125 (1999-02)

The Honda VT125 Shadow was manufactured between 1999-02 and boasts a V-twin, SOHC engine with four valves per cylinder. It has a capacity of 124 cc and can produce a maximum power output of 15 hp at 11000 rpm. The bike has a liquid cooling system and a compression ratio of 11.8:1, with an induction of 2x 22mm VP-type. The ignition is digital transistorised with electronic advance, and starting the bike is done through an electric starter. The gearbox is a 5 speed transmission and has a chain final drive. The front suspension features 35mm telescopic forks with a travel of 110mm, while the rear suspension features dual shocks with adjustable preload and has a travel of 80mm. The front brakes consist of a single 240mm disc and the rear brakes use a 130mm drum. The tires are 100/90-17 at the front and 130/90-15 at the rear. Its dimensions are 2300mm in length, with a wheelbase of 1524mm and a seat height of 680mm. It has a ground clearance of 145mm, and is relatively lightweight at 145kg. The bike comes with a fuel capacity of 14 litres or 3.8 US gallons.
