Honda V4X Concept (2013)

The Honda V4X Concept motorcycle, also known as the Honda VFR 1200X Crosstourer, was released in 2013. It has a four-stroke, 76-degree V-4 engine that has a capacity of 1237cc and a maximum power output of 95 kW or 127 hp at 7750 rpm. The maximum torque output is 126 Nm or 92.9 lb-ft at 6500 rpm. The engine has a compression ratio of 12.0:1 and is liquid-cooled with electronic fuel injection. The ignition is computer-controlled digital transistorised with electronic advance ignition timing of 8.4 degrees BTDC at idle speed. The motorcycle uses an NGK IMR8E-9HES spark plug and has an electric starting system. The clutch is wet and multiplate, while the transmission is 6-speed. The final drive is a shaft gear system with a final reduction ratio of either 2.699 or 2.706. The frame is diamond-shaped and made of aluminium twin-spar. The front suspension is I43mm inverted telescopic forks with hydraulic damping, and the rear suspension is Pro-Link with gas-charged damper. The front brakes consist of two 310mm discs with ABS, while the rear brakes use a single 276mm disc with ABS. The tires on the motorcycle are 110/80 R17 for the front and 150/70 R17 for the rear. The motorcycle’s dimensions are 2285 mm in length, 915 mm in width, and 1335 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1595 mm, and the seat height is 850 mm. The motorcycle’s wet weight is 275 kg, and it can hold up to 21 litres of fuel.
