The Honda NSR 125R-R from 2001 is a two stroke, single cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 124.8 cc. It has a 28mm Dell’Orto induction and a capacitor discharge electronic ignition. The bike produces a maximum power of 12 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 15 Nm at 8000 rpm. The transmission is six-speed and has a multi-disc oil bath clutch. The front suspension is a 35mm Showa telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a Pro-link rising rate adjustable preload. The front brakes consist of a single 316mm disc with a 2 piston caliper and the rear brakes have a single 220mm disc with a 2 piston caliper. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 127 kg with a fuel capacity of 13 litres. In a Motosprint 1993 road test, the Honda NSR 125R-R was reviewed.
