The Honda NSR 125R-R motorcycle was produced from 1993-1994 and had a liquid-cooled, two-stroke single cylinder engine with a capacity of 124.8cc. It had a 6-speed transmission and could reach a maximum power of 12 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 15 Nm at 8000 rpm. The front suspension consisted of 35mm Showa telescopic forks while the rear suspension had a pro-link rising rate adjustable preload. It had a front single 316mm disc and a rear single 220mm disc with 2 piston calipers. The dry weight was 127 kg and it had a fuel capacity of 13 liters. It had a road test in Motosprint 1993.
