The Honda NS 250R was a popular motorcycle made in 1985-86 with a two-stroke, V-twin cylinder engine and a 249cc capacity. Its liquid cooling system had a compression ratio of 7.3:1, and it used injected 2-stroke oil for lubrication. Its ignition was electronic CDI PGM II and it had a kick start. The bike could reach a maximum power of 45 hp at 9500 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 8500 rpm. It had a wet plate clutch and a six-speed transmission, with final drive via chain. The frame was made of twin spar aluminum, with telescopic forks for front suspension and a swinging arm for the rear.
