The Honda GB500 Tourist Trophy (1987) is a four stroke, single cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 390cc. It has an air cooled engine with a compression ratio of 9.2:1 and induction through a Keihin PH 69. Ignition is through CDI and it has an electric start. The bike puts out a maximum power of 34hp at 7500rpm and maximum torque of 3.4kgf-m at 6000rpm. Transmission is through a five-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate coil spring clutch and chain final drive. It has a single 256mm disc front brake and a 138mm drum rear brake. The suspension consists of telescopic front forks and dual adjustable preload rear shocks. Tyres are 90/90-18 at the front and 110/90-18 at the rear. The bike weighs 157kg and has a fuel capacity of 20 litres.
