The Honda CB 900 Custom motorcycle was released in 1980 and had a four stroke, transverse four cylinder engine with a capacity of 901cc. The bike had a compression ratio of 8.8:1 and was air-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. Its 4x 32mm Keihin carburetors and inductive electronic ignition helped it produce 95 horsepower at 9000 rpm along with a maximum torque of 77 Nm at 8000 rpm. The bike weighed 277kg with a fuel capacity of 16 litres and consumed fuel at an average of 41.2 mpg. The standing 1/4 mile time was 11.9 seconds with a top speed of 135 mph.
