In 2013, Honda released the CB500F motorcycle with a four-stroke, parallel-twin, DOHC engine and a capacity of 471cc. The bike features a liquid-cooled system and PGM-FI induction. It has a max power of 46.9 hp and max torque of 43 Nm at 7000 rpm. The transmission has six speeds and the bike’s final drive is an O-ring-sealed chain. The frame is a back bone type, and the front suspension has a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear features a Pro-Link single shock with nine-position spring preload adjustability. The bike weighs 190.5 kg and has a fuel capacity of 15.5 liters. The front and rear brakes are a single 320mm wave disc with two piston calipers and a single 240mm wave disc with one piston caliper, respectively. The CB500F has a seat height of 784mm and a wheelbase of 1400mm. Both the California and EPA versions of the bike meet current environmental standards.
