Harley Davidson FXSTBI Softail Night Train (2002-04)

The Harley Davidson FXSTB/I Softail Night Train was produced from 2002 to 2004. It had a four-stroke 45-degree V-twin Twin Cam 88 (R) engine with a capacity of 1449cc and a compression ratio of 8.9:1. The engine had pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters and two valves per cylinder. The motorcycle was air-cooled and had a dry sump lubrication system. The fuel system used either carburetion or electronic sequential port fuel injection depending on the model year. The transmission was a 5-speed with a wet 9-plate clutch and a belt final drive. The frame was made of mild steel with a rectangular section backbone and twin downtubes. The motorcycle had 41.3mm telescopic front suspension with beer can covers, and a hidden horizontal-mounted coil-over shock rear suspension.
