The Harley Davidson FXE 1200 Super Glide was a motorcycle produced between 1974 and 1977. It had a four stroke, 45 degrees V-Twin, OHV engine with a capacity of 1207cc and a compression ratio of 8.0:1. It was equipped with a single 38mm Keihin carburetor and an electronic ignition system. The bike had a maximum power output of 65 hp at 5500 rpm and a 4-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The front suspension was telescopic forks, and the rear suspension was a swinging fork with a duplex loop cradle and cast lugs. The front and rear brakes were single 298mm and 248mm discs, respectively.
