The Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide motorcycle was produced from 1965-69, featuring a Four-stroke, 45 degree V-Twin, OHV engine with a capacity of 1207 cc/74 cu-in. The engine had a compression ratio of 8.0:1, and used Tillotson 1-5/8″ dual Venturi diaphragm induction with an accelerator pump. The bike had a maximum power output of 58 hp/42.3 lb-ft at 5150 rpm and maximum torque of 70 lb-ft/95 Nm at 4000 rpm.
The FLH 1200 Electra Glide had a kick and electric starter, and was equipped with a 4-speed transmission with final drive by chain. Other features included Telescopic forks for the front suspension and a swinging fork for the rear, with drum brakes on the front and rear.
