Ducati 350 Desmo (1970-72)

The Ducati 350 Desmo motorcycle was made between 1970 and 1972, and has a four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with a capacity of 340.2cc. It has a compression ratio of 10:1 and uses a Dell’Orto SS1 29D induction system. The ignition is points and coil, but was upgraded to electronic after 1973, and the spark plug is a Marelli CW260N/Lodge 2HN. The motorcycle has a SAFA 3L3 or Yuasa B38 battery and is started by kick. It has a maximum power of 17.7 kW/24 hp at 8500 rpm and a 5-speed transmission with a primary drive ratio of 2.111:1. The bike has a front drum brake size of 180mm and a rear brake size of 160mm. The front tire is 2.75-18 and the rear tire is 3.25-18. The bike measures 2000mm in length, 600mm in width, and 940mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1360mm, a seat height of 735mm, a dry weight of 128kg, and a fuel capacity of 13L. This motorcycle was included in a Bike Group Test road test.
